-2-3 rolls of packing tape and some masking plastic
-8 meters of light weight chopped strand mating.
-10 liters of unwaxed polyester resin
-500 mils of Catalyst, cheap weigh scales (or old measuring cup), measuring syringe.
-dozen mixing cups
-dozen cheap 2" paint brushes
-old rags
-latex gloves
-acetone for clean up

Some vasoline will give you a release alternative to wax to help remove the tape. Give me your location in the world and I can help you find a supplier.

Yeah, Tennessee is in the southeastern USA. We're not very international-minded here in the US; we think everyone knows all about this country, even though we know surprisingly little about other countries. A lot of Americans operate on the theory that there are two places in the world: (1) USA, and (2) Other.

I was in Sydney a long, long time ago, but I have no idea where in Australia The Whitsundays is. How about a geography lesson, or even a map?

And, by the way, thanks for the materials list. It'll help a lot of us. It might be good to note for the American -- non-metric -- crowd that meters translate roughly to yards, liters are quite close to quarts, 500 mils is just about a pint, and that an Australian dozen is 12.

Here you go. Airlie Beach to Brisbane is roughly 1400km. The coast of Queensland is well over 3000km long.

Thanks, BiGGy, that helps a lot. I Googled "Airlie Beach" and read about it a bit. Sounds lovely. I live in Florida, so it appears we live in somewhat similar climates, but you have the advantage of being surrounded by Aussies.

I guess we'd better un-hijack this thread and let it go back to fiberglass materials . . .

Whiule the list above is a good beginning, alot depends on how you want to make the enclosure.

Or some other type of install?

Off the top of my head, you can add fleese material (to form the shapes) and some type of body filler.

You can create some wild enclosures with 'glass, but it's a long process and involves alot of work.
