I want a motorized casing so I can push a button and my 17"tv pops up out of a unit in my van. Do people use electric window mechanisms for this or are there specific companies who make this kind of motorized pop up unit? I dont want a tv as I have one. I just want a way of making it pop up out of a unit.
mine doesn't pop up, it rotates, but the parts you need will be she same.

Making it move is a lot of work, but finished very rewarding.
don't use a button, but the key. The radio-power kabel is used to power on / of a relais.
That way you can't forget to close it.
