Talking RSX Panel Fabrication, Molded Drive, Switches and USB, 56k WORKLOG

    Hey Guys

This is a Lower Trim piece for a RSX. I already finished the top molded lilliput for the customer/member and he liked the work so we are moving on to this lower trim panel.

It will host a DVD/CD Slim Drive, 2 Molded in Rocker Panel Switches and one molded in USB port.

In the pictures below, I used Fleece to cover the opening then I fiberglassed it. Everything is fused together with CA Glue. Then I moved onto my premium body fillers..

And Yes, those are popsicle sticks. I find them VERY useful to fill in small gaps instead of using a larger amount of filler or glass.

    I am almost done.

one thing i think ur gonna have to be careful with is the wires at the bottom of that. They are probably going to conflict with the sliding cup holder/tray lid. Make sure to check your clearance before you force that thing back in and break the usb off. i am sorta serious about it and will pm you when i get a lil time

Hey, I talked to the customer and we found that it would be best to move the USB, so with that said, I moved it over to the top of the right switch, it is all primer, I will re spreay it and post pictures.
