    Starting Out

Well I'm starting over this time with a 2005 Infinity G35 6MT. I pretty much have everything already have started to modify my JDM DD Kit to accept my new 08 Lilliput. All my interior Trim pieces are primed and ready to be painted so I'm hoping to have everything completed this weekend. This was my first time molding a screen bezel, so far so good. Those of you with the new Lilliputs know that the screen is now off centered and I didn't want to delay the install anymore so i just kept it that way. Maybe later I'll add 2 USB ports on the right side

    Looks great man!

What did you use to mold that? It looks very clean.

Thanks, I used JB Weld on the inside portion to hold the two pieces together and then bondo and some red putty to smoothen it out. I then threw about 3 coats of primer and plenty of wet sanding in between.

Looks nice! Why does every one go for the OEM look for though? I personally would rather have a custom piece stand out than have it look like it was done from the factory. Of course this is understandable if the center console is really the only thing you're modifying.

I always think that if you can do what you want and still keep things looking clean and flush then it would look great + I don't have tons of cash laying around to go all out... and I'm inpatient, I want to get this done so I can move on to the rest of the car

That makes a lot of sense, especially if you only have one car.
