Lighted Car mount for EEE PC

    I finished my mount!
    Car - 2000 Saturn SL2
    Computer - eee PC 701
I will attach the eee with velcro (getting that monday) here's the price breakdown:

wood/plexiglass - Free! from scrap at school
    felt - $0.19
    glue - $1.25
    screws - $.99
    metal braces - 2 @ $.99
LEDs - $7.50 (Damn Radioshack, and my impatience for not ordering them online)
Resisotrs - $0.99 (Also at Radioshack)
USB cabel - Free! extra lying around the house
Total cost: ~ $13.00 (would have been significantly less without LED from Radiocrap)
    Time - about five hours

    Pictures:

LEDs are powered by USB. It mounts right under my stereo where there is a void. I slide the wood/felt part into, fits nice and snug. Let me know what you think! I am very happy with it, have driven around with it in my car and the only time it gets in the way is when I am starting/turning off my car and not very much then. Doesn't come out at all, stays where it is put.

    Uploading Pictures to MP3Car.com

It's easy, it's pretty fast, and it keeps your pictures from getting lost or blocked. Size limits are 1524x1524 pixels, and no larger than 2MB, for each image. Click on User CP in the toolbar, and then Upload an Image. You can do multiple images at a time. Once you get them uploaded, go to User CP in the toolbar, and then My Images, and copy the BB Code with URL into your worklog where you want your picture to appear.

I usually work with two browser tabs open so I can go back and forth between the post and the pictures.

I also include text to suggest the reader can enlarge the photo(s):

When I put pictures side-by-side, I leave two spaces between them, and I usually leave an open line above and below the pictures.

If just enough is really good, then too much ought to be perfect.
