    Do i need a case?

    i am planning on mounting my car pc without a case, it will be in a very small mdf box with a hole in the side for the fan. is this a good idea or do you recommend a buying a case and mounting that instead?

    I don't think you need a case, I have no case either in the back in the trunk.

    ok, i didnt think i did hence why i have built the pc in the box but i was just searching and a few posts made me curious. as long as its cool it will be fine was the conclusion i came to lol
