    It's HERE!!!!

    Damn, it looks sweet!!!!

Special thanks to Nexon and Phoenix imaging. I highly recommend them both if this is the path you want to go down.

Here are some pics. As you can see, the color matches perfectly. I installed the climate control unit already (too all of 5 minutes). Need to work the LCD into the bezel, which will take me a few days.

Check it out and let me know what you think! I'll also start up a worklog soon!

you should see it at night when the buttons are backlit.

The way they got it so glossy and smooth is unreal. It looks wet!

Mounted the screen to the bezel last night and secured the driver board, TS controller, inverter and remote wire to the back. That took a little creative bracketry with wood, ABS strips, foam and "L" brackets and nylon screws (no pics of that yet though).

Everything is now mounted to the bezel itself, and the bezel just snaps into the orginal factory holes. All wires to the driving board are plugs, so it's simple to connect the power wires, VGA, etc and pop the whole thing right in. Might need to cut away a little of the ABS cage way back in the dash for VGA cable clearance, or maybe get a 90 degree adapter cable.

I guess this is now my official worklog.

Some pics. Check out the grain pattern compared to the factory ash tray in the last pic. That is the piece I sent as a sample.

Wink Cadillac Deville DTS Custom Wood Grain Stereo Install

Custom Made Wood Grain Stereo Bezel

I guess I should of said, I Custom made this.
Fiberglass & finishing Bondo and a lot of sanding.
I have a friend that is amazing at painting and it is a 6 stage paint job with a Perl bronzer added.
Sure I could of just used a lamanit but "It is all about quality" The paint gives it depth and gives the feel of a true factory wood-grain piece.

If you'd like one this nice let me know.

I'm in the middle of a unique technical build if you'd like to check me out at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2440675

Nice bezel. Did you make it, and if so, what did you use for the woodgrain?
