6 steps of painting fun.

1. prep prime Let Dry
2. 2 base's while still wet tacky
3. perl clear
4. brush grain while tacky
5. wet-sand airbrush grain accents
6. clear wet-sand

(Started with about 18hrs in the bezel)

I guess you could say it's more than 6. All I know is it's a real talent to pull it off. The bezel takes a skill of it's own, but the paint is what made it work. I would have to charge $1200 too make another, just to cover the time.

the molding in of the bezel to the panel is cake, the painting is where the talent is at.

Question what kind of prep work did you do to blend the epoxy putty to the dash. Would it have been safe to just use duraglass to blend into the dash? I'm looking to redo my install
