What is the flexibility of bondo?

i have made and enclosure for my carpc, i basically took one of the back cubby holes and made a mold around it, after 5 layers of fiberglass i have a pretty solid mold with the correct shape to fit the car but i need to make it smooth and sand it to then paint it, but i remember someone saying that bondo cracks easily, my mold is solid but it has a little flex on it so i don't know if bondo will crack, does anyone know of a product like bondo to smooth surface but that is flexes aswell?

i wish it was that simple, i have high and low spots because the cubby hole from the car had an outline to it, i just want to make it completly smooth and to hell with the outline, i painted it with a flat black so i could see the high and lows better and there is no way i can sand the fiberglass to smooth i have to use a filler.

on a brighter side after reading the sticky on fiberglass tips i stumbled on to a thread that showed you can mix the body filler with fiberglass resin and it will turn the bondo into a substance that has enough consistency to brush on and not have to use a spatula to apply.

Don't use Bondo, it's got virtually ZERO flex. It will crack.

Use bumper repair products, such as 3M bumper repair, or Dynatron 660. You can sand it within 15 min, or so.

I've never used the stuff myself, but it's quite popular with a lot of folks here on the forum. I can't speak for how flexible it is, or not. I don't know where to get it anywhere around me, so I just use the bumper repair epoxy.

well here's a random question, if i do mix the body filler to the fiberglass resin would that give the body filler the same strength as the resin itself?
