what kind of car is all this going in? Do you have Pictures of any of this? I seen you had pics of a scion xb i think it was, is this your car? Is this how you want to put the 10inch in?
You need explain a bit more so that we can try and give you advise. Also you need to SEARCH this forum, believe me you. What your looking for is on this site, you just need to spend time LOOKING FOR IT ALL. You can ask any question but most of the time your questions have already been answered, and lot of us don't and won't spoon feed you. Thats just an FYI.

But back to your question, you have to make better sense of it all, sounds like to me you want to put in a 10inch lcd and your not sure how to install the single din radio and dvd. Start with pictures of your car, and describe your questions much better. This may help you out in the long run!

    Thanks Phil

I'm headed in that general direction with my '06 xB. I recognize the dash in pic#3, but don't remember the specifics. He's moved the climate controls down and widened the bezel. Looks like he lost some head unit space and went to a smaller (shorter) head unit, but that means he also lost steering wheel controls. I've moved my head unit down to the bottom, and plan to put a 10.4 up at the top by moving the ducts over. I'm a long way from done, but you see what I've accomplished so far in my worklog.

To mount the two players, if they're replacing the head unit, then you can use standard DIN widths and build a mounting box -- or just mounting plates -- that attach to the mount plates already in the Scion.

    cakenbake,

The reason why your posts didn't show up is that they were moderated. It is a spam prevention measure. If your next post doesn't appear straight away, it could be moderated. If it doesn't appear after 6 hours or so, then try to post again.

You should be right after a few more posts.

It wouldn't work in mine, from what I can see of it. If you take out the head unit and look at the brackets that mount it into the dash, you'll see what you need.

There are two pairs of screws on each side, but the chance that they'd mate to holes in your players is pretty small. You'll probably have to build a plate that adapts them, or simply build complete new brackets that match the OEM brackets' bolt-in tabs, and that have the correct holes for your players.
