Its not bad, but it needs alot of sanding. Seeing how rough it is, I would used 36 grit in some places just to get the general shape.
Here are some pics I took last night:

Is there an easier way to put it on smooth?
Should I put another layer on it then start sanding? I just don't want to sand one spot too far then have to start over again.
Since it is shapped very tightly, i use my finger to put it on, then sand it off, prime it to see how evenly it looks and then go from there

I got some sandpaper last night and went to town, wow this is going to take a while and you burn through sandpaper so quickly.
Nexon, I have a question. Someone told me to get an IR 90* angle grinder for my air compressor to help speed up the process.
Have you used one of these on this type of project, does it help?
Ok, you dont need a die grander for such a small project. Everything has to be done by hand by sanding unless you use a dremel with a small sanding wheel to get into tight places, just keep on sanding and sanding, it will shape up eventually.

Ok will do.
Out of curiousty what type of bit should be used for the dremel? I tried a few before, the ball, the pointed tip, the odd shaped ones and never really found one that worked very well. I tried the wire brush and it worked ok.
i have all different sizes that i use for different things, it really depends on what you want to do

Cool, just wondering. I'd actually like to figure out what the rest of the pieces in my dremel kit are used for. I just use the dremel for cutting small things.
What type of paint do you use to get that oem interior look?
OEM Texture, OEM satin black
