2007 Chrysler Sebring Double Din Bezel??

I am installing a double din unit in my 2007 Sebring. Nothing ever goes smoothly does it :) . The factory opening for the stock stereo is about 4MM short height wise to allow a double din unit to fit in flush. I did buy a double din mounting kit, so I thought a double din unit would fit properly, NOT!!!

Has anyone done some fab work to a 07/08 Sebring or Dodge Avenger or does anyone make an aftermarket bezel for installing a true double din unit?

Any help is appreciated.
