Just cut it up. CA Glue the bezel in. Then take some filler to fill in the seams. Sand everything down and get it ready for primer and paint. No need for the dash kit
Hey there.
My G ride is a 95 Lumina and ready to geek/pimp it out!
So got my screen (Lilliput 629GL-70NP/C/T LED). Uncased it took measurments. Made a template to work with as you can see.
I've inculded a picture of the front view of dash, behind view of dash with lcd template and a behind view that includes the template, and the dash kit that I would like to extend to fix height issue and fill in spaces (Marked in red).
I am in need of some help from the group with some ideas. I'm able to get a hold of extra pieces of dash kits to extend the current kit and to fill in the gaps on the side. Plan on soldering things together and fill, prime, paint per "autocads" sticky.
I've been measuring and drawing on the back to see where thing "should". Sat back and looked at it over a smoke (Its a bad habit, I know) and said "Hmm that doesn't seem right".
I know i'm gonna have to bust out the dremel to fix the hight issues of the viewable area of the screen. Just need a push, kick or some insight to start walking in the right direction.
Thanks for the help.

Problem solved.
Made my own dash kit from a whole piece of plastic used for Car audio installations. Traced out plastic to match up with OEM screw holes in the dash. Heat gun and a table vice (to bend nice 90 degree angles) and cold water. Plastic FTW. Pictures soon!!!!
