    no radio

How easy was it to re-wire the dash to use just the car-pc & no head unit, also, have you had any issues with the pc being exposed & not in a case?

I already had an amplifier installed so I didn't use any wires in the dash. The only issue I have had with not using a case is pci cards coming loose after a big bump. Other than that no issues.

looks nice. im a little surprised you kept slapping on the dynatron until all the divets were gone... i think you life would have been much easier if you would have used a filler like bondo or something better for the small voids. the dynatron is more of a structural material, and the final surface is made much easier with a fine, easy to sand filler. just for those trying to do the same...

Thanks!! There were a few reasons I used the dynatron for the entire project. 1st, I used turbocad's step by step as guide & he stated that it could be used from start to finish. 2nd, I have never done this before so I have no experience. Lastly, I figured I spent $40 on dynatron & didn't even use a 1/4 of it After looking at nexon's stuff as well as others I realized that bondo would do the trick. Sooooo for my next install I'll know better

You did right though. As stated, use the plastic epoxies for the structure and fill the voids with filler and you will be good to go!

yeah i mean, doing it like you did is actually better then using a filler on top... its just a lot harder. i can also see on the curved sides, its a little out of shape- and bondo could have easily made that perfectly smooth-shaped. but i hate when you work so hard on something and all people can do is find problems with it, so overall i say you did an excellent job (and i would say the same even if it wasn't your first time.)

Thanks trader. Yes, it's still out of shape in some spots I got to a point where I would fix one spot and then screw another spot up. I basically gave up and just left it alone and put it back in the dash. I must have had it out of the car 7 or 8 times!!!! Thanks again for the compliments.

    Help with bezel

I am very interested in putting a monitor in my Wrangler dash as well. Was it difficult? Was there much fabbing involved?
