This is what I want.

I see a few pics of people that mount their remote display of the v1 radar into their mirror. I've been searching for a hour. Does anyone know how to do this or have a write up?

Nobody knows how to do this?

I've been wanting to do the same thing also. I believe you have to open the mirror, then gut your remote V1 display to be able to get a template to etch the glass, then integrate the electronics guts in there and close it all up. Maybe there's a better way but that's just my thinking.
I'll do some research and keep you posted.

How do you etch such small pieces and circles though and get it so perfect.
Practice, concerntration, steady hand and a whole lot of skill.
First step is to get at least one spare mirror from ebay or the scrap yard (US translation Junk Yard).
You can just practice on regular old mirror glass, try and get the same thickness as the mirror glass in your rearview mirror.
I got a spare one on the way already. I'm going to lay the V1 over the back of it and trace it out, then try to etch it.
I remember playing with acrylic and after etching it you had to snap it. Somehow I HIGHLY doubt you can do that on this.
Think this would work?

Why are you planning on snapping it?
All you are doing is removing the mirror material on the back of the glass
lol, I don't plan on snapping it, but when I did the acrylic I couldn't cut it all the way through, that is why I'm asking.
