You are welcome back:-) Same story for me, I'm afraid. Working on button interface and takes for ever before there's anything to show, as it seems.
Using the dash pcb yet, Kraimer?
My car installation mp3car thread "showing off project"
Just when I thought I had freed up some time to work with my CarPC, I sold my old Harley that I've just finished rebuilding and bought a new one, that needs rebuilding... lol...
So, I've had my hands busy with the newest project...
Though, I have started to build a case for the computer and div equipment to have in the "cargo hold" under the hood.
Good to see everyone still visits!
B-O, I am a great disappointment - I haven't touched my CarPC for months...its actually still off in the car and I've been driving around without any entertainment. BUT I guarantee to have it up and running soon... (I may have said that once before)
Crinos, which Harley did you get? Bikes are so much easier to work on than cars! Still fun nonetheless!!!
Thread of bad conscience :-)
I was hoping to do a trip to Kristiansand with a monitor this summer!
We'll get there! Nice with a break from time to time.

Not to worry, since nothing else is ready in my car.
I have difficulties deciding on what OS to run.
Windows embedded is OK but needs lots of work.
Windows 7 is to heavy
Windows XP is.. to old?
A linux distro is possible, but will it all work propper?
XMBC driven frontend like Art's car from HACKTHEIBUS group.
The nice thing with .NET developed frontend, is that it can be compiled on Linux with MONO.
I have written (in .NET) an audio player that have realy high quality audio, and use very little resources compared to the audio quality, and I'm stuck there atm frontend wise.
Stupid me is actually considering a tiny "harley PC" lol... Sometimes I just need to tell my self... "Hey, stupid, start finishing the project you start on, instead of starting new ones all the time"...
Edit: found some pictures on facebook
the guy on the chopper is me some years ago, before I finished the bike. The girl on the soft tail is just a friend of mine. Picture is taken earlier this year, before I bought the bike.
