Ok, so I removed the piece I was going to install my on/off switch, reset button, and USB port.. Bad news.. The friggin circuit board goes the entire length of the piece (even across the empty buttons)..

Since you probably don't want to hack up those buttons (because of the circuit board), you'll have to get a little more creative. You could dremel holes in the bezel for USB ports, although I don't think I would feel comfortable doing that and making them look halfway decent. Another option is would be to use some USB extensions and find another spot, like the center console or next to the shifter.
Can you access the glove box from the radio area? You could just run a usb extension cable into the glove box and not mount it at all. It's accessible that way when you need it, but you can coil and hide the cable in there when it's not in use.
Yea, that's a good idea for the USB option.. I doubt she's even going to use it that much (more like me).. Just when adding music / and or movies / software / etc..
I really wanted it for the hard on/off switch and reset button though.. I wanted to actually get another one of those pieces and use the buttons that actually act as buttons and swap them out with the ones that are just blank..
I THINK I can probably still mount actual switches and buttons but I want to find ones that aren't so in your face that take away from the factory look..
I've used the kind of buttons that were posted before and I like them in my ride but I want to try and keep it as close to factory as possible (so not big LED's etc).
