Need ideas on how to accomplish getting a screen fabbed into my bezel please..

Any ideas on where to install the case and / or what case to get?

I'm guessing just in the rear storage area for ease... Now I just need to find a case that isn't huge and ugly.. I'm using a standard ATX mobo (probably, that's what I will most likely have laying around)..

I'd do some measuring and see if you can fit the computer in-dash behind your screen. Minimal loss of storage space, and short cabling runs. Take a look at what blk02si did with his old mustang. http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/fabr...ps-indash.html

Unless you go the ATX route and then that's obviously not an option.

Do you have your on CNC machine too? I mean, how would you build that metal enclosure for the PC??

A snip here, a few well placed holes and I've got an in-dash double din case. You could make your own by hand. Just needs some sheet aluminum and a few tools. He has a sheet metal break available to him, but that's not necessary.

$500 compared to the $250 one on ebay... I think I have to go with the $250 one (even though that one is much better).

I actually have the one without the screen included, which was $150.

Ahh.. So that'd be $150 plus $160ish for the screen (plus doing all the ripping apart, soldering, etc yourself) for $310..

I'd be afraid to jack something up...
