Do you have two pc's in the car? I see you have a touchscreen in there as well, Are they both running off one pc or do you have a separate one for your dash?

Im actually running one pc, I thought about doing a nano setup with xp lite and nothing else for my gauges but cant justify the cost

Still havent had any issues what so ever, only problem is the fact that Dashcommand does not automatically reconnect after hibernation, so I havent used hibernation. Takes a few seconds longer to completely boot up but I dont have to touch a thing.Quote:

Guess I found another project! I've been testing TouchScan on my current carpc and it seams to work really well. I think I am going to build a dummy panel in front of my current gauge cluster though.
I am currently working on a dash install however i am leaving in the old cluster and mounted my screen to my bezel so it just screws in. I plan on using my netbook mounted in glove box with a 12volt fan and wireless mouse ball mounted in the cup holder. I'll post pics within the next few weeks.
hey guys. i was wandering, is there any way to do so with an older caR? (vag-com kkl409 protocol?) cause its really sweet. or is there a way to create something like OBD2 interface, with custom sensors??
I havent really messed with this too much, but I suppose you could hard wire your vehicle sensors into an input board such as a fusion brain and then map them into Dashcommand somehow...?Quote:
