How to mount tablet PC into visor?
I checked the first 5 pages of search results for 'tablet pc visor' and couldn't find the answer I was looking for.
I have got an Archos 9 running Windows XP and Centrafuse, and I would like to mount it in the visor but I'm not too sure quite how to do it.
The visor looks like this and I will be getting one from a local breakers yard so if I ever want to sell the car in the future I can put the original one back. The tablet will fit perfectly and it is thin enough to mount flush inside the visor, the weight is also fine, I put the tablet on there temporarily with elastic bands and the visor doesn't fall down at all when driving around heavily pot-holed British roads :)
I would like it to look neat and tidy (don't we all?!) but I'm not sure how to accomplish it. I was thinking of hollowing out a hole and putting some sort of plastic edge strip around it and then maybe a perspex frame over the top to stop it falling out, would this be the best idea? It would be nice if it was removable if necessary (maybe some sort of clip or a couple of screws?)
What are your thoughts?
