help on removeable truck box mounting
my family has a 96 ranger that i just got a relatively-new aluminum truck box(something like this) for really cheap.
here's the deal though-- the truck is used for, well, truck stuff, so this box cannot be permanently mounted in the back, because the bed isn't that big in the first place..
i am looking for ideas on how to mount the box in the truck so that it won't move.
i had a old box in it before-- a plastic version, that i screwed wood blocks to the bottom that went in the stake pockets to hold it in place. it worked, but the wood rotted/broke apart, and i can't help but think that there is a better way..
can modify the box in almost any way needed.
my family really frowns on modifying any part of the truck, so if at all possible, i want to avoid it.
i would like that the box gets locked in place, though it would only be a added bonus, and is not required.
thanks for any ideas!!
