I have Skoda Superb 2012 and want to use Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 as a removable navigation and entertainment system.
I saw that soundman has the galaxy tab 4 "cheap" slider kit, but it will cost me about $100, that is not-so-cheap. So i've decided to make it by myself.
This is how the stock headunit looks. I have 2DIN fascia made for aftermarket headunits install, so I just need to fit my tablet into the fascia.
I've seen many fiberglassing tutorials and made this:
Basically, it is a "slider type system": I insert my tablet on the right, under the fascia, then "slide" it to the left, to microUSB power connector. It fits OK, but I have a problem making it to look good on it's right side. I need to close the hole you could see on the right. The hole that makes possible to insert the tablet under the fascia. I just don't know how to do it Maybe someone could give me an idea?
Also, I made one more install system, that is much more simple than sliding one, more ergonomic, but looks a bit ugly. This is my "angle-sliding install system"
I will use this for a while, but would like to make a sliding one. So if you could give me an idea on how to make it better, please do so
PS: Sorry for my English.
