    Using the tea method also checks to see if your enclosure is air tight. IF it leaks, you know its not

    If it's a fiberglass box, it doesn't matter if it gets wet. Using packing peanuts is a good way to fint the approximate volume of a subwoofer box. The .00001 of a cubic foot you are of because of the space between the peanuts is not doing to make a difference. If your really worried about it, you can use rice, then you can make dinner with it too!
