Burl Wood Texture

Any thoughts on creating a burl wood texture to match OEM wood trim?

I'd like to construct a LCD enclosure and texture it to match my trim pieces. I've seen some paint products out there and also the Epoxy coating that creates a high-gloss cover.

Does any one have experience with this process?

I used some wood effect sticky back plastic. Comes in a small roll and you just cut it out and stick it on. I found that by spraying on some laquer it created a deeper finish. See my attempt at an serial lcd surround built in to the ashtray:- http://freespace.virgin.net/sally.jeremiah/index.htm

That's pretty close to what I'm looking for. Do you have a brand name or, better yet, a supplier's web site?

I cant remember the brand name but I bought it from a local hobby store. I have also seen other types sold at after market car parts supplers (eg Halfords in the UK). Found USA link to Folia Tec:-
