    how to begin ?

    tips for mounting screen ?


    how to begin thinking of making a custom dash.

    useally the custom dashes are half the dash but mine is half in the dashboard half out.

    I'm pondering on the same dillema, i have almost exact same mounting position as you (mazda 6) ... First i was just gonna screw it in and let it go, than i realized that would ruin the looks so i started thinking of making a custom mold to fit this thing in... Than i moved on to a motorized idea, and after trying to come up with a good motorized solution for so long... i think i'm almost settled on the fact that it's just not gonna happen. But my guess is, bondo will be our friend here. Yes we could make the carcass of it with fiberglass... and than use bondo for finish work...

    or you could use that foam filler stuff
    then fiberglass it
    then bondo it
    just do it in layers, so that it does not stay wet in the middle - but that would be one way to make a hump.
