yep, use wood for the basic structure and fill it in with bondo...shouldn't even have to worry with fiberglass if you have enough structure with the wood

OK, that might work.
But what is bondo in swedish.. so i know what to ask for
Checked the placement for the screen Hmm.. look likes the 8 tft is to big
and its nicer with a wide screen so i think im gonna buy the 7 tft touchscreen
But the damn shift gear is right in the middle of the screen

Bondo in Swedish, isn't that allmost the same as in Norwegian?
Bondo=sparkel (spackel)

Bonbo in Swedish is Bondo. It's a brand name. It's also called 'auto body filler', 'all purpose filler' and 'all purpose putty'. If you translate any of those last three phrases into Swedish, someone at a hardware store should know what you mean.

well im planning of starting with a wooden frame end then use some bondo..
It`s a real pain in the *** to know how to put the screen and make it look good.
But im gonna experiment a lot

Has anyone installed a screen in a 89-95 BMW 5 series?

i have, where do you want to put the screen? theres not alot of room where the stereo goes maybe below a t anangle in the center console.
Ohh and the problem with just using bondo is if its to thick (more then 1/8 inch) its probley gonna crack. use fiberglass then a bondo fiberglass mix. i just wrote about it here Fiberglassing Tips? on the last page

I'd like to see if a screen will fit in the center console at the same angle. Got pics?
