Yeah But I would also have to chop up the case to make it fit and then find some wayto attach the buttons to the back. Those ribbon cable are apparently very easy to mess up. One I bondo the faceplate in everything will go back right where it was inside the case.

Hey, that looks like an explorer dash. I did the same thing with my explorer (still working on it) and I ran into a problem with the cigarette lighter. The cords for the lilliput will get in the way of the lighter. I just took my lighter out and put bondo over the hole. So now the cigarette lighter will just sit behind my screen which is fine because I just plug the screen into the lighter back there.

Decided to try the chopping of the middle out. I am pretty happy with it as it is. If I am feeling extra motivated someday I might bondo.

Nice job. How did you secure the screen to the bezel? I have an '01 Explorer, but I took the screen out of the housing and bondo'd a frame for it. Have it secured with strong magnets so I can take it out if I need to.
