Nice work so far E. Still a lot of filling and sanding to do, but it will look great.

DAYUM! This looks soo sweet. are you going to be able to make a copy of the bezel for the other guy? I'd pay a buck for one if done right for my M3.

Well, seeing as I originally started putting the lilliput in over two years ago, and started on the current bezel over a year ago and I'm still not entirely happy with it, and am still looking at other ideas. Probably not.

However I do hope to a tutorial with loads of pics. (yeah I know I've been saying that for over a year now )

That's looking pretty good, excellent job with the recession.

I know this is a lot harder than it sounds, but I recon the bottom edge should be inline the same way that the sides are inline to their edge.

The method I used to get 100% stright edges, was to cut up some perspex exactly the same size as the edge, and lay it on top. that way you have a minimum amount of filler to sand, and you can use the straightness of the perspex to guide your sanding.

just be careful you dont' sand away a part of the corner like I did

another thing is maybe you can use some leather/vynil to wrap it? the edges look quite good for getting vynil on there. the finish is amazing and it really hides imperfections.

keep up the good work, almost a perfect look.

won't be hidin under vinyl or leather, but for version 3 (this one is 2) I might look at the perspex idea.
