jbors : "The case was made by myself." I knew you were going to say that. Anyway how are you powering it?

Yes I do have 2xDIN space. The top is for monitor( see pics for more details ).
The bottom is pc. I may take regular vga touchscreen instead. As now I have to use keypad.
The head unit is useless for me, I'll use external amplifier to have sound anyway...
The powering is through external ITPS. PW70 inside the case.

Nice, would be nicer with a slot loading DVD though.

Kinda ( considering it about $140 ). Anyway, I got it as a gift.

Some more pics. There you can see how the front panel is mounted.
It sits on those metal ears which has small clips inside.
I wish I had slot loading drive foir better look, but only Panasonic make them which is not my favourite brand .
Anyone has link to a regular slim slot DVD-ROM ?

WOW, that is cool. I wish I had the skills to build a case like that. I know it's been asked before, but do you have any measured drawings that you would be willing to share?

As for slot load DVD's, I have a panasonic that seems fine. Some have higher CPU loads than others. I would suggest the obvious online auction site, but I'm sure you have already tried that. Second best bet is pricewatch.com.

I'll try to see what I can do. It is so messed up now. Will keep you updated.
