custom stereo-like switches

That switch IS a push button momentary.

From what i read,

It stays stuck in when you push in ( 0n ) and then releases when you push it again ( off )

I want it to be a push button that doesnt stick on/off ,but acts like a reset button.

OR did i not read it right, that could be the case.. lol

No, the switch has more than 2 contacts on the back. On set is the switch, the other set is for power to the leds. The switch is momentary. The reason the led stays on in the pics is because they have the leds powered by a pc. So as long as power is applied to the led contacts, the light will be on.

So, then this is what i want? It will not click and stick for either off/on, it will just push. So i could wire it to my computer button and it will act like that. Push and hold " shuts down" push once " hybernate" Push while computer off "power on"

If you're planning to use the bulgin with an opus, be aware that you will need to build a momentary -> latch circuit.

Gosh Damn It.... thanks for ruining my day Frodo.... I just finished making my dash panel last night, got the Xenarc mounted, the DVD mounted and a 3/4" hole for on of those Bulgin switches.... the plan was to use it to turn on and off the ACC line going to the ITPS..... that way I would have a secondary control for the starting and stoping of the ITPS if so desired....

So much for that idea..... I wonder if there is a way to make it "Push On / Push Off"?????

Damn monkeys.... always crapping from the branches on us land dwellers....

I made and use this circuit with my opus and momentary switch.
