can you show us a black and white example? I dont quite grasp what you are lookin for.
I searched and did find links to various vandal proof round momentary switches, but do you guys know of catalogs that aren't black and white that have switches that are differently shaped? maybe rounded rectangles, or very small circles.
many of the places i've been all look really "industrial" and wouldn't fit very well in a car setting.

have you tried partsexpress.com
they have excellent quality switches and some unique ones too...might be worth a shot.
when i mean black and white, usually when you go to places like digikeys.com you get a PDF file that shows the switch in black and white illustration format, and it's hard to see the actual "looks" of the switch. it's more utilitarian than sleek. i'll try partsexpress, thanks.

Ok now try this... use dry transfer decals as found in:
http://www.letraset.com/us/template1...d=3469&id=3471

Then apply a clear lacquer coat to protect it. Never tried it myself but it may work. If not print your own symbols on transfer paper.

Apply the decal on top of whatever button you want to use. Good luck.
Heres some more buttons

I was going to use an alps printer to print white and silver arrows, but i wanted the buttons to look nicer than the generic circle or square. something along the lines of a small oval rectangle.
Those are nice, but i want a push button. So i can use it as my momentary button. Pushing and holding resets the computer and pushiing it once puts it in hybermate mode and so on. Like how the button on the computer acts.Originally Posted by Mitokondria
I bet you can get this, take it apart and remove the part that holds it in and out and make it a push button like that.
Wonder if somebody makes a push botton of this...
Thanks
