Where do I buy fiberglassing materials?

Hey Guys-
I would like to know where is the best place to get the materials needed for fiberglassing. Is there someplace local I can get it or do I have to order it?

Just about any hardware store should carry atleast Bondo brand fiberglass supplies. Home Depot is where I get my stuff.. you can buy it for (what I hear is cheaper) from Boating stores.

pepboys and autozone are the two places taht are like 4 blocks away from me....you can bet they have them.

Also you can check auto parts stores, where they have spray paints and stuff, I bought my stuff at PepBoys cause it was on my way home from work, but I've seen it at AutoZone, O'reilly, and some other parts stores

I did the same thing. I bought a small kit that was $10 it came with the fiberglass resin, hardening liquid, mixing tray and fiberglass matte.

If you have too much money, you can go to a yacht supply store and spend 5x for the privilege of having a live radar dome in the 'Navigation systems' aisle next door sterilize you while you gape at the incredible markup on normally cheap fiberglass supplies.

Not that I'm bitter....

Wow, I would have thought a boat place would be the cheapest.
I heard something about fiberglass hottub manufacturers selling huge quantities of 'glass supplies very cheap.

Otherwise, bodyshop supply stores would be cheap. Anyone that specializes in paint and body supplies. Those little kits are hugely overpriced compared to just buying the bulk supplies.

HaHa, I dont think your that bitter.

If any of you are familiar with Bass pro shops they sell whole mats, never fiberglassed my self but the mats look like they are to cover large areas of boat, not really sure how much of that stuff you really need tho.
