Thats going to look nice, dude.
Alright, I got my lilliput 7" TS and I couldn't wait to start the fabricating job.
Please not that this just the first step of the project, and hopefully I'll update this throughout the long weekend.
I wanted to put the screen in the double din, and keep the buttons, therefore keeping the monitor intact. I'm also trying not to void the lilliput warranty. There has been a couple of members install it without the buttons and it looked very OEM. With the buttons, I had to cut the din openinga bit. That's what I did yesterday.
As you can see from the pics it actually case out pretty well. I was going to add a MDF border and use Rigid Filler, Sandpaper, primer and paint to give it an OEM look (and simply snap the monitor to the back).
However, now I'm becoming tempted just to paint the lilliput black and remove the lilliput badge and forget about the molding.
That's question, what do you guys think?? -
Lay on the suggestions and comments! Thanks.
