    I'd be interested in a custom housing for a '92 Lexus SC400 and '94 Benz E420.

Go for a standard black double din faceplate that will fit both xenarc and lilliput. If people want to paint it a different color to match their intereior then they can do it on their own.

I would be very interested in a faceplate that has space for 2 DIN, for my '96 A4. I would like to have an indash screen like the ones from digitalWW, and under that my headunit. But in my A4 there's only space for 1 DIN. I think the solution would be 2 plates. One to fit the airconditioning in place of the ashtray and one to fit 2 DIN and all buttons in the space above. In combination with the proposed 2 DIN-mount for Xenarc and Liliput this could be interesting for others with an A4 too.

I would be interested in a double din adapter that would make my install in my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo look more stock. As of now, it looks ok, but you can see space in the corners where the screen is not flat and therefore, does not mount flush with the radio bezel. However, this is really only noticable from extreme angles. If the price was right, I would definately pick it up. Maybe you could make an adapter that would mold directly over the Lilliput front and make it flat - that way it would mount behind pretty much any double din opening, using the original radio bezel. I have woodgrain around my screen, so the black right next to the screen looks nice, but the silver color is also visible at the top, which doesn't look as nice. I would love to be able to center my monitor in the opening, as well as have any exposed plastic be the same color. Is that doable?

I think the easiet solution for this would be to just make a regular double din face plate for it, thenlet people do the finish work themselves for the exact look they want. i think someone else suggested this too, and also now that dww is selling empty housing it would be even easier.

yeah design something so that you just pop it into the two dins and it sits flush witht he screen in it. even if it sticks out a bit. as long as it looks molded.

or just convert a 2004 civic double din. to hold a liliput.. that would be kewl

Any other common manufacturers to look at, maybe Subaru, Volvo, Saab???

I have a Volvo C70R that I'm going to install my Lilliput in. It also has the normal dubbeldin space. I would definetly purchase one from you if you start manufacturing them =)!

This is a great idea. I'll be installing mine into a double-din in a 2000 Toyota Celica. One thing that I'm sure has been touched upon is that it would be *really* cool if you could make it similar to a headrest mount and thus, detachable. The primary reason I haven't installed my screen into my dash is because I'm afraid of theft. Ideally, I would like to have something that's detachable. I think someone did it with a starvision LCD? I'm sure that if you made a larger generic version to fit a double-din slot, we could manage cutting it down to fit whatever dash it's going into. At least then I could retain some of my diy dignity
