Thx, did a google search and found it, looks cool, but 10" deep is longer than most cars will accept - does yours fit, or will it stick out from the face?

Actually, it looks like it could be cut down a bit if the power supply was relocated or removed (link is logic supply):

Looks like the Morex Cubid 3688 costs about half as much, anybody know why?

I'm not sure, theres a lot of room behind the headunit, so I cant acurately tell

Great job... looks like it will really look great..

I've been working to mount the carputer also under the drivers side dashboard- started a month ago. There's heaps of room there.. I wonder why not many do that? How do you plan to connect your DVD- will you just extend it out?

I was actually thinking of using a usb to ide converter to extend it

I got a long "round" IDE cable on Ebay and plan to extend the powersupply as well. I also got a used pioneer slot-in DVD for 20buck that I want to use. I thought the idea of a slot shooting out was a but too fragile in a mobile enviroment and the slim slot-ins cost a fortune.
