Protege owners. Where did you mount your systems?

I want to mount my Xenarc in the double din. Our dashboards are sooo shallow and nothing will fit behind. Where did you protege owners mount your systems?
I have 2002 Protege5.

Mine is hopefully going underneath the passenger's seat, with the amp underneath the driver's seat.

Have you tried to figure out a way to actually mount it to the bottom of the seat?
It seems like it's just plastic under there. Strong plastic, but I don't think self tapping screws would do that trick. Not too sure though.

i was about to put it behind the lcd, but not enough room, in the glovebox it goes with my 4 chan amp under my pass seat

Alright. I've finally got my install complete. I decided to put my pc under the passenger seat and the screen in the dash. I didn't do any modifications to the car itself, except for the 4 screws holding the pc to the floor.
