carpet can be had at pep boys, autozone, etc. you can use 3/4" MDF for the frame, then you can either fiberglass it all or use bondo if you only need to fill small gaps.
I wan't to build a console with the CDROM inside of it and the touchscreen slanted facing up you know? What kind of wood and material to you recommend, and where can I get the material, I checked WalMart and Hobby Lobby and got some smooth fabric, but I would rather have a carpet like texture like on Subwoofer Enclosures.

a lot of car audio shops will sell you carpet by the linear yard.

jus asked my dad (a.k.a. knower of all) bondo is a type of body filler bought at home depot, used for filling stuff, after sand and paint it looks great apperantly

You could probably get away with 1/2" MDF instead of 3/4". It's lighter and generally a bit cheaper.

For a custom console you would want to use fleece and fiberglass resin. Then apply bondo to smooth it out.
