Hi Pepe. I did see your truck online here. That install of the screen is very similar to what I will be doing, but I am going to try and add a little more contour to it. Yours looks nice how its set up, but I will be painting mine black again like it is. With this color, I think it needs a bit more contour to it then yours does (around the LCD edges etc). I do not want to bondo it flat all the way up to the LCD. That's all in my artwork though - I can do it (i think! :D )! I have been thinking over whether I want the 7" Lilliput Touchscreen, or the 8"... I just won the auction for a NEW 7" VGA TFT Touchscreen monitor on eBay for $238.50 plus $20 shipping (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7929205651). I can't wait to get it now so I can start playing!

yeah i went to the local junkyard looking for that and for a radio bezel, but where i live everything good is pillaged so fast that there arent even cars that are newer than 98 that stay there for more than a day or two :( but im gonna but the stuff off of ebay now. Was that overhead unit hard to install though?

It wasn't hard but it was time consuming. You have to cut in your headliner and you also have to cut through some steal for the brackets. Very scary but worth it!! :D

The link now says INVALID ITEM and it doesnt show up in my eBay Won Items area... Any ideas? I cancelled the PayPal Payment that I sent, so I am safe there. I was excited too! If you have any ideas what may have caused this, please let me know. Thanks! -Brett

it happened to me before. like they said, it infringes on the trademark somehow. i had already payed through paypal when i got this notice. i was ****ed. ebay made me so mad that day. anyways, be glad you didn't send the money, and just go get another screen. -Ryan

Well... I got the screen today! I am very happy with it and the accuracy of the touchscreen. I am typing now at 1024x768 on my WindowsXP onscreen keyboard (small letters, but its working ok...) I will be mounting it in the Ranger when I get the chance and decide what I'd like to do... I'll keep you all posted!! -BMW
