Think it turned out prety decent.... Not bad for my first time. The hardest part was securing the lilliput to the console. Any reccomendations to make it sturdier?

forgot to ask what all stuff did you use? and how did you get the buttons so prefect?
what do you mean the buttons? thats the lilliput case molded into my dash panel
oh ok that make sence.lol. So to avoid getting fiberglass or bondo on the button you put some sort of blue tape?
Looks too great for a first time!
Let us see it installed.
Great job mate,
i'm too doing the same thing, can you please see if you can answer thee following questions:
What is the blue tape you have used to cover the screen buttons and Screen itself while painting.
And is that Black Bumper Paint a Matt or gloss

so you take the buttons outOriginally Posted by kickercivic1
i did not want to spray it with the buttons out though, as it would build up residue in there... So i put it together and taped it... worked great
oh and while it was my first time working with this... I had to redo it 5 times to get a perfect finish...
Matte paint and the tape is standard masking tape. doesn't damage the screen, or pull anything off the buttons.....Originally Posted by eazyrog
