Well, I guess there's no point if you don't mind driving around with a hole in your dash for weeks. Going on months for me.![]()
Thanks! I would definitely try to modify the one you have first. In the Z the non-nav compartment works better for installing aftermarket screens.
I don't see a point in buying extra bezels for the screens or extra dash parts for the car. If you ever need an original unmodified part buy it at that time. Use what you have for now.

thanks altimat for your reply. I will try to modify the one i have. I just dont want to **** up the part. But i think you've given me confidence. any tips on modifying the part?
I just glued my Xenarc bezel in behind the factory screen opening on my Titan and it was a little too short and too wide. I cut the opening taller, fit the Xenarc bezel, glued it and just tapered the sides a bit more to decrease the width with epoxy filler. Step one will be to measure that opening and see what you need to do to make it match the 7" LCD. Feel free to PM for more help.

I've looked at doing this in my 05' Altima, but really the navigation console is quite different and wouldnt really do much to help the situation....Originally Posted by aqualyricist

Hey Altima. I just noticed this thread and by looking at the reflection in the lcd screen, it looks like you did yourself some damage on your hand. What happened?
The epoxy is PowerPoxy and at first glance I wondered what I did to my hand too, but then I realized it was my shoulder.![]()
