Got some bumper trim paint, fiberglass resin, and a couple of yards of fleece today. I'm off the next 2 days. Gonna finish the bezel first and start on a fiberglass center console to mount the AC and seat heat controls. I'm also gonna put my DVD drive in there.
Hopefully have more pics tomorrow.....maybe even partially installed.
    Thanks.

Warning!!!! Do not use the Duplicolor flexible bumper trim paint. It is still too shiny. Also if you have to take it off it sucks. Had to use brake cleaner to get the stuff off because as the can says it is flexible. Which means it stays very soft and when you try to take it off it is very sticky. So I am back to sanding and primer.

That's with Rustoleum textured paint. It has too shiny so I added a couple of coats of flat black.

Onnce it has dried (let it sit in the sun for a couple of days) get some turtle wax buffing compound and a buffing pad and buff out the surface. It will make it look reall cherry plus it adds a kind sheen to it. I should post a pic of mine.... i think i have my camera in my car....brb

This one was done with just Krylon Flat Black.

I was trying to match the texture and sheen from the top part where the two vents are. Did you epoxy that bexel in there? Be sure you glue that in there cause bondo will crack. Mine did, i just redid it

Crap...got the holes sanded. Get ready to put it together and I can't find the 2 clear plastic pieces I pulled out.

    In the red.

Oh....I glassed in the bezel. I'm going to add epoxy on the back before I put it in for extra strength.
