    Lqqk --> Altimat <-- LQQK

    Hey Altimat here are the photos we talked about basically I want to lower the AC vent controls down to make room for a 8 Inch Xenarc touch screen in the dash.

    If Altimat doesn't want to do it I am excepting offers to do the work (I can pay well)

    I don't see where moving the HVAC controls makes enough room for a screen?

    I saw a decent square he could work with... if he ditched the stock HU. It'd be some custom stuff. Have to drop the HVAC about 3" And the current opening is roughly 8" wide so he could mold the case into the dash...

    Quick adjustment I did... (sized down via paint shop stretch/skew with same #'s for both.

    Question I have is there enough room in the front for the HVAC there? dropping it 3" may give you an issue. Another option is angle your HVAC if you could 45* (give or take) so they are slanted up for easier access (also takes up less vertical distance)

    Edit: Took out picture link, host server went down and lost all data.

    There is an empty slot below the HVAC controls cut and move the conptrols there, then you have to be nift with a piece of wood. The wood can be actually superglued between the hvac and the screen. Then some good bondo time and it will look good!

    Well, it's all the same. As long as you can reach your controls, it should work. I'm a perfectionist (reason why I haven't tried to start yet) You like my photoshop skills?

    Ahhh, OK no problem then. Just make sure everything will pysically work out behind the dash first - wires/cables long enough, enough space, etc.
