Any functionality lost when buttons are covered?

So is there any functionality lost when the buttons of a Lilli are covered up? Can you still use the remote?

Yes the remote is all you need but you need to relocate the IR receiver then.

And hehe do not forget to relocate the power button. Or look around for auto-on power button mod.

What about if you cover up an Xenarc's buttons. Would the same apply?

Would it work if you left a small hole over where the IR sensor is, in whatever your covering the buttons with?

Personally, I covered all the lillput's button except the IR sensor AND the power button. Just in case, it was easy enough to just keep one.
Its not the cards you're dealt, its how you play the hand!

The Xenarc IR sensor is on a nice long cable as if they designed it to be relocated.
