Great question! Fiberglassing Tips?
I have started making an amprack for my trunk. It is to be setup to where i can flip down the back seats and the amp rack is going to be there(from top to bottom wall to wall, as to create a walll behind the seats.) So far ive taken a piece of MDF and cut it length and height wise to create the back for the rack. THen i took some fiberglass matt and resin and created a cast of the sides and bottom, and glassed it to the piece of MDF. THe question i have, how the hell do i get the polyester to stay on the piece of glass i have made already. Should i stapel it on, glue it, glass it on, what? And also, about how many layers of glass should i use for a simple amp rack? Thanks in advanced.

Iunno if your being a smart *** or not, but if you havent noticed i have posted to that thread. All tutorials say glue or staple fleese(polyester) to your frame, but what if the fiberglass IS my frame. And i have tried hot melt glue, but i cannot get it to stick firmly to fiberglass for the life of me.
