3/4 inch Plexi Glass/Diamond Plate Amp Box

Though some ppl might enjoy this unfortunatly i dont have pictures of the building just a somewhat finished product.
here is a picture of a plexi glass amp box i contructed on the floor of my van

To do so I needed to raise the floor by roughly 2 inches
I laid a piece of 1/2 in ply wood and a 2x4 flat side down and built up the entire back of the van
Then I got a 3/4 inch (originally was gonna be 1/2 in but i couldnt find it) piece of plexi and mounted it in the 15 inch by 36 inch hole i had made for it.

I laid it in like the rest of the plywood that had been placed on the floor with a slight lip all the way around.
The I got a 17 inch by 40 inch piece of 1/4 inch diamond plate a jigsaw and a drill and went to town. measured out the dimensions of the chevy emblem and cut (not as easily said than done) If i could have found 1/8 in i would have but i went to a metal shop by me and the guy charged me only 20 bux for a 17 by 40 inch sheet which he cut from a half piece he had.
I went thru like 4 blades 24 tooth metal blade if i recall right. i could be wrong

so instead of the amp i just have the piece of carpet i cut out of the hole for right now till it gets warmer then i might even consider putting my car pc there or even doing a oneway mirror (infinity mirror) effect there.

Looks nice! I like the chevy logo that you cut in the diamond plate .

there was a thing on pimp my ride the other day where they put a couch etc in the back of some ****ty old van - the couch also doubled as a sub box with 2 subs in it...
