Hey mister altimat I don't know if you remember me but I was the one that sent you some PM's asking you for the price on a dash for a nissan xterra.
my idea was to move the radio down to the empty space, this open have a cover that is hold to the dash with some screws,then put the xenarc were the radio was.

I finally start doing the fabrication part of the project and I been reading the fabrication forum for a while and I know that you Know what you are talking about.

So I went to the local body shop supply and I bought the evercoat metal glaze, and the epoxy plastic weld fom the auto parts.

I already cut a couple pices of plastic, like the one that separate the upper hole with the lower hole (I make one single hole that mesure abouth one feet).
So the xenarc fits perfect were the radio was but the radio I have to make some king of frame to make look nice.
that part I think I have it figure it out but now I ran in to a problem,besides the dash pice I have to change the shift console a little bit.
I cut the pice,fix it the way I want it but when trying to glue it together with the epoxy It doesn't.
So the diference between the dash part and the shift console is that one is
ABS and the other is PP-T20 so my question know is:

*The epoxy do'nt work with PP-T20 or was the problem
*If no what product I need (the guy a the body supply offer me this product that is for "problematic plastic" this cost $25 bucks and he is gonna let me borrow is gun...... so I don't know if this is what I need.

In general the faster-setting epoxies are the weakest. With PP you have to use an adhesion promoter such as 3M Automix 5907 Polyolefin Ahesion Promoter or nothing will stick.

ok so I will get this at the same body sho supply..... and I can stilll using the same epoxy (the one from auto parts or should I change to 3M automix platic repair...???....and the evercoat metal gaze work has filler for PP or do I need something else (I'm gonna end penyless after spend all this money)

Your best bet will be the 3M Automix products though they are most expensive.

I think I'm gonna get the 3M automix plastic repair after spend $1200 in hardware I think I can get $50 dollars more from "the bank" (my girlfriend-kind of wife-being together for 8 years-she controls the money)

what are the steps to work in PP....?? sand it 80-180 clean it.........

All 3M products include excellent preparation instructions, but yes clean, sand, fill.

The local bodyshop ofers me SEM Polyolefin Ahesion Promoter so is ether this or buy the 3M automix online........

Any sugestion for this SEM product???

Find the 3M automix platic repair for $20.76 and the adheresion promother also 3M automix for $19.83 at sherley willians

SEM is fine. Not sure about using the Metal-Glaze with it though. I'd try a little test area first. Make sure it sticks well. The Automix is probably your best bet though. I stick with epoxies on PP.
