How-To: Recessed Screen and DVD Drive
hi all thanks for looking!!! I want to put a xenarc 700TSV 7" monitor in the middle hole of the picture which is too wide and too small in height.what I am thinking about doing is move the top a/c control unit up almost to the very top.which will give me an extra 1/2" so now I have a total of 3 3/4" in height for the monitor.then I need to cut out the other section (between the 2nd and 3rd hole) now I have a total of 4 1/4". now I need to cut the bottom hole almost all the way down to the bottom to give me another 1/2" for a grand total of 4 3/4". I might be able to squeeze out another 1/8" or so.
i still need the bottom hole for the radio.
my big question is that because the hole is too wide for the monitor is there any somewhat easy way to fill in all the gaps that I will have and look pretty good also...
in the picture the dash piece look like it has lines on it but it is actually tine squares.
thanks for your help and your suggestions
