can't speed up curing without risking bubbles!

Find yourself an Injection moulding company in your area and ask them for some non-coloured ABS pellets... If they don't have any they will know where does.

If you get pellets which include a colour agent this will not melt in ABS and just sinks to the bottom of your mix, I think the colour requires the heat of the injection moulding machine to do its thing...

Time to use the button me thinks

I know I've said this before, but it seems to have been ignored.... I admit I never tried this solvent method, & it may very well be a great solution for some things, but there is a MUCH easier way.... & is compatable with just about every bezel out there..... words are just words, so I'm going to show a few pictures..... don't mean to discredit this method at all, but for everyone who thinks this is there only or best alternative, I just want to show another method.... hope this helps someone..... when I finish my bezel I'll probably make a thread to show the construction start to finish, but a few shots for now.....

first, weld/glue/screw/epoxy/ even tape the plastic togeather, even just tack it..... a soldering iron works great for welding plastic:

then mix this stuff up & put it on.... the consistancy is perfect for this type of work..... when first mixed it is very "flowy" as it sets up it stiffens up slightly before it starts to really cure....

after it's positioned I removed it & finish outside or vehicle.... my bezel is slightly different from most here because my screen remains in the dash & the bezel comes off.... positioning is much more of a pain in a setup like this
