LEGO dash pieces, consoles, puter cases, etc

So I got to thinking, why bother with all this bondo and fiberglass and hours upon hours of sanding all these custom pieces to make our dreams come true... when we can use legos? They made our dreams come true when we were young, have we forgotten our roots?

Any thoughts? If i had a shatbox for a car i'd give it a shot...

Hmm, I wonder which costs more a real Volvo XC90 or a Lego Volvo XC90?

The Lego one may cost less to purchase but auto insurance is going to kill ya.

the liability would be through the roof... imagine hitting a minivan with a kid on board who ends up choking on a piece of your bumper...

Airbags made out of lego bricks would hardly be life-saving....
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

I dunno...maybe the lego idea isn't so stupid?

why not build a base for a screen mount with lego pieces glued together, then do the finishing work with bondo? It would have worked when I made my BMW Bezel...
