why not just screw the frame to something in the dash?
anyways..i think the duct tape looks good against the wood finish![]()
I'm looking to get this head unit frame bondo'd into the dash panel so that i can remove the ghetto duct tape lol. Which type of bondo should i use as there is not a great deal of surface area to work with. I plan on painting the faux wood the color of the alpine installed. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

rebuilding carpc... kinda..
there's nothing to screw the frame to. behind that panel is just wide open space for about 7 inches. I gutted that area so i could fit the radio there instead of the din opening.
Use Bondo Glass. Comes in a Green/Blue trimmed can.
Also known as Kitty Hair. Touch up with regular bondo, and then finally spot putty.
Car: 2000 Audi A4 Avant 1.8t
Carputer 2.0: removed. Back to stock.
